Kong Art Space is pleased to present "Jonah", an exhibition of drawings, sculptures and video by Jaime Ruiz. This is his first exhibition in Hong Kong.
The Consulate General of Mexico cordially extends an invitation to visit the exhibition “Jonah”, by Mexican artist Jaime Ruiz. Through graphic art, clay sculpture and video, he presents a unique vision on the state of the world and of our oceans, connecting his home state of Oaxaca, in southern Mexico, to a global context.
“Jonah” is presented in the context of the Hong Kong Art Week 2017. It would support the Gallery Walk for Charity on November 21, that would be held in benefit of the Women´s Foundation, the Sovereign Art Foundation and the Artist Residency Abroad Funding Scheme.
The exhibit is brought to Hong Kong in collaboration with the cultural outreach program of the Museo Tamayo, one of Mexico´s leading contemporary art institutions. It is made possible by the generous support of ANA.
